This project will amend Vallejo Municipal Code Chapter 16.303 (Accessory Dwelling Units) to comply with State ADU Law under Government Code Sections 65852.2 and 65852.22, ensuring that local regulations align with state requirements for both accessory dwelling units (ADUs) and junior accessory dwelling units (JADUs).

PROJECT STATUS

This project is currently underway. The proposed municipal code amendments are being drafted and are expected to be considered by the Planning Commission and City Council in summer 2025.
