Vallejo - Free of Graffiti (V-FOG) Program

The Vallejo – Free of Graffiti (V-FOG) Program helps residential and commercial property owners within the incorporated City of Vallejo remove graffiti at no cost. By partnering with the community, the City works to keep neighborhoods and business districts safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.

How It Works

  • Step 1 – Apply: Property owners complete the V-FOG Consent & Release Form. This allows City staff, contractors, or approved volunteers to enter the property and remove graffiti.
  • Step 2 – Six-Month Coverage: Once submitted, the consent remains valid for six months, meaning multiple graffiti cleanups can be performed without re-applying.
  • Step 3 – Removal Methods: Crews may use pressure washing, scrubbing, painting over, or other approved techniques to safely remove graffiti.

Residential Property Owner Responsibilities

  • Sign and submit the consent form to participate.
  • Understand that the program covers graffiti removal only (not full repainting, repairs, or decorative restoration).
  • Maintain treated surfaces to help deter future tagging.
