The Vallejo – Free of Graffiti (V-FOG) Program helps residential property owners remove graffiti at no cost. By partnering with the community, the City works to keep neighborhoods safe, clean, and welcoming for everyone.
How It Works
- Step 1 – Apply: Property owners complete the V-FOG Consent & Release Form. This allows City staff, contractors, or approved volunteers to enter the property and remove graffiti.
- Step 2 – Six-Month Coverage: Once submitted, the consent remains valid for six months, meaning multiple graffiti cleanups can be performed without re-applying.
- Step 3 – Removal Methods: Crews may use pressure washing, scrubbing, painting over, or other approved techniques to safely remove graffiti.
Residential Property Owner Responsibilities
- Sign and submit the consent form to participate.
- Understand that the program covers graffiti removal only (not full repainting, repairs, or decorative restoration).
- Maintain treated surfaces to help deter future tagging.
