| This project will replace the Fire Department's rescue vehicle that was put out of commission in 2012. A new state-of-the art Technical Rescue Team Vehicle will be purchased with mobile air compression, lighting for nighttime operations, as well as hauling special rescue equipment. |

Update:
The Fire Department supplemented the PB funding of $302,500 with an additional $44,153 in funding to purchase a 2016 International 4400 2-Door 15-foot Air/Light Unit rescue vehicle. Specifications were ordered in April 2015 with an approximate 12-month manufacture and delivery time.
The new truck was delivered in April 2016.
