The City of Vallejo Grounds Maintenance Division cleans up approximately 3,500 tons of illegally dumped trash and debris on public property each year. A permanent city employee, supported in part by Recology Vallejo, is responsible for this work. The Solano County Sheriff's Department Work Release Program also provides workers to assist in this maintenance.
