The Engineering Support section is responsible for ensuring that private and public construction projects are inspected and comply with applicable federal, state, and local codes and regulations.

SCHEDULE AN INSPECTION - PUBLIC WORKS ENGINEERING
Engineering inspections are required for all projects in the City right-of-way including encroachment permits, street repairs, and city projects.
Inspections are required!
Call (707) 651-7151 at least 24-hours before starting work.
When calling, please have the permit number, address of project, date work will be ready for inspection, either a.m. or p.m. time, as well as the type of inspection requested.
Additional inspections and permits may be required during the project and will be explained by the Public Works inspector.
