Project Description:
Support student achievement in Math and Technology with After School Education and Safety Program [ASES] in 14 VCUSD schools through the purchase of 280 iPads. The ASES program targets schools with students from low- to moderate-income households.

Update:

VCUSD has already purchased technology equipment, including 280 iPads, and have distributed the equipment to 14 school sites. Teacher training is beginning and curricula are being developed to fully utilize the technology. The purchase of 280iPads, 28 MacBooks, and 14 charging carts came in $32,000 under budget.

City Council authorized VCUSD to expend the $32,000 remaining funds on software and programs that could be utilized by the iPads.
