COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT (CDBG) PROGRAM FY 2015/16

In a Notice of Public Hearing dated April 9, 2015, the Vallejo Housing Authority Housing and Community Development Division advised community organizations and agencies of an opportunity to submit an RFP to petition for allocation of funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program and HOME Investment Partnership Programs. The following agencies responded to the Notice and have been recommended to have their RFPs submitted for consideration of available CDBG and HOME funding. These RFPs will be presented to City Council on May 12, 2015 where the Council will hear and ultimately decide on which projects will be provided funding. The selection will be based on an analysis and identification of priority community development needs, which will address issues in the community such as homelessness, public improvements, economic development and a host of other social services.
